wow.. i might have re-stated some of my post but look at other forum topics? many peoples are repeating things over and over again like where is IDS? where is Terra Shield, how do i get a solo build. Geez, whats your problem with me. I didn't have a beef with you. Just with xbox360.

Back on topic, whats people's expectation on PS3 now that xbox360 has been brought here? Do we want real or those "WOW i can't believe it" games or some killer apps before i spend 400 dollars or more for PS3? I know lot of peoples got turn off by xbox360's lineups.

True, PS3 is screwed for not being launch early but whats the big rush? i mean this current generation technology isn't next gen yet. Wheres our space cars, jet rocket pack, or high tech stuffs for our homes? where is the medicine to cure all those disease?

Im not a PS2 or Sony fanboys but i'm sick of Microsoft for thinking that they can fool everyone by releasing xbox360 this early and call it next gen system when its not even close to doing what next gen stand for. PS3 vaporware, care to explain to me what it is?

Instead of having a debate or conversation about xbox360 and PS3, you have to flame me and call me a fanboy.. which is a complement but no thanks.

Until we get some next gen or high tech gadgets for our reality, xbox360 is the worst thing to hit mankind since the black plague!

My expectation is fan boys paying me 1500+ dollars on Ebay for my preordered PS3

That way I can buy an Xbox 360, PS3, and Revolution. HOPEFULLY by then the 360 will have something, but who am I kidding

Why would anyone be lame enough to wait around for 2nd shipment?! I have seen so many 360s its not even funny. Hell the other day Target had 4 left. Just a week before christmas my friend called me from target and told me they had 7 left from the 15 they got in the morning and it was 5:30pm! I just do not see a point in getting one right now.

Best thing for ya to do doh is to ask around to find one and if ya can, cancel your pre-order and use it to buy a game or something. Another friend of mine is on second shipment, but hes got 4-8 people ahead of him.

My friend at gamestop says they have had 3 or 4 xbox 360s come in at a time at least every two weeks or so.

I would go with the ps3 because its much more faster and has the same vid card, just much more better. I wouldn't spend my money on Xbox 360, because of their graphics card company, apparently, the xbox 360 doesn't have the same company as they did before. And ps3 has Nvidia as their vid card for their graphics. Not to mention, xbox 360 wasn't ment to play old xbox games. You can pretty much only play the old xbox games if your willing to spend more money on the other hard drive for it. Or buy the set that has it both. Ps3 is comming out later, yes its true. But, it has more features then before. It has a faster processor and its going to be x10 better then the ps2.

Note: I happen to love ps3. I don't mean to upset any xbox fans.

Ps: Btw, the new nintendo thingy ma bogger console is going to be able to play any old/new nintendo games. Yes, it can because they have cartages for every type.

Nintendo is ::trying:: to keep up now. :P

I don't think it is that the Nintendo system has a slot for all the different types of cartridges and stuff, rather you'll be able to download them. At least that is how I understood it. I'd much rather download all the games because I sold off all of my good old Nintendo games.

I have an xbox 360. I dont know why you lot want to boycott them. They are the most superior games consol out at the moment the graph. People say that they are over heating. Well i have never had such a problem.

As far as i can tell, the only problems with overheating that i have been able to verify is while playing the Xbox1 games like halo 2 and other stuff. Minimal problems, mostly on certain levels (Outskirts for my friend) and its a problem with the emulator, not the system. Btw, i heard a stat for the Ps3 that went something like this (from GameInformer, my fav mag): "The current blu-ray drive that the Ps3 is using will take over a minute to fill its Ram." I have no idea if that remark is still current, but if it is, the ps3 is in some serious trouble. As for me, ill try to get both the 360 and the ps3. (I like the xbox more, but Soul Calibur ROCKS!!! as does Doa, which is on the xbox)

Yeah and COD2 I got for free with my comp owns. =P But I don't play it.. don't even like WWII games... Now.. if they did HalfLife 2 on the 360 then I would be interested.. but it's on xbox.. =P

Sport games are rehash with a tiny bit more 'realism' into it and new players. I don't add sport games to my list because simply.. well personally it's football...but insted of watching it on tv you play it.. I'm just not a fan of Sport games on consoles. But that's me not flaming sport games just.. don't think they're a real video game to me unless they're like silly but a sport like Blitz or something crazy like Mario Soccer but making it as real as possible kinda makes me go.. "Yay... it's like watching sports which are boring to begin with"

Anyway 360 isn't all that much next gen in tech wise.. nothing new I've seen in it.. just parts of a comp meant for a console. Same for PS3..

I think everyone's too into the actual system rather than the games.. =P

How about Keyboard + Mouse Support

FFXI players are going to love how fast PS2 and PC users can out chat them. FFXI is a very "chatty" game, espcially with linkshells.

There going to release FFXI for the Xbox360. I was responding to xenoranger comment about other accessories being added on and it made me think of it.

Microsoft doesn't want keyboard and mouse support (or at least not atm) for the Xbox360. FFXI is a very "chatty" game 3x as much as guild wars is.

FFXI has shared servers where PC and PS2 users are on the same servers and interact with each other. When I played FFXI on PS2 I had to hook up a cheap usb keyboard. FFXI is played better via controller over keyboard but text input is lacking w/o a keyboard unless you macro everything.

There at times like riding on airship you are are doing nothing, waiting hours to get a party fully assemebled (normal at times), where chatting with your linkshell (aka guild) is the norm.
